As an award-winning journalist and media personality, she has become a true community plug, bringing healing through truth and transparency. One of her notable accomplishments is being the Executive Producer and Host of What's the Biz with TJ, a digital platform that shares the inspiring stories of Black-owned businesses across the nation.
Through What's the Biz, Te'Jal has played a crucial role in increasing the visibility and brand awareness of over 100 Black-owned businesses in Dayton, Ohio, also known as the Gem City. Her show has gained immense popularity, accumulating over 72,000 views in the third season alone. Additionally, Te'Jal has formed partnerships with esteemed organizations like the Greater West Dayton Incubator and Launch Dayton, connecting local Black-owned businesses to essential resources.
In 2022, Te’Jal took her passion for building communities to Instagram live, launching Moments of Clarity. This innovative platform fosters transparent conversations and storytelling, creating a strong sense of community among its viewers.
Te’Jal's exceptional coverage of business, politics, and mental health has earned her recognition not only in local publications like the Dayton Daily News but also in national outlets like Mom's Rising.
